Springville School
WONDER. LEARN. GROW.

Springville Learning Room(SLR)

Is an online educational programme carefully structured to ensure children don’t experience learning gaps as a result of staying at home for a prolonged period. The programme aims to provide meaningful learning and social engagement for students while they await physical resumption of schools.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our way of life has changed tremendously, it doesn’t mean that we have stopped doing what we usually do . People now work from home instead of stopping work. People still enjoy their favorite Chinese food from fast food restaurants by buying take away. We now go out to public places observing physical distances instead of locking ourselves indoors for fear of contacting the deadly virus.

Schools are closed, but learning has not stopped, only the venue has changed. Learning has now moved from the physical classroom to the virtual world of the internet.

Springville school has all the resources and capabilities to give your kids a standard virtual REAL TIME education to keep them learning while school remain closed. You will see your kids wake up every morning and get seated for classes even when you are not around.

Online classes are going on to engage the kids, to ensure our learners are learning even while at home and to avoid parents from having physical contact with lesson teachers with the uncertainty of the Covid-19 virus on the rise.

Our online class requires financial commitment from parents in form of :
1. Providing a device for EACH child ( at least a tablet, not your phone.).
2. Providing internet. (Make a budget for about 50Gigs per family)
3. Head phones for communication
5. Conducive learning space in the house with a reading table and chair.
In the Springville Learning Room (SLR),we will use:
1. Zoom for live classes ( students and teachers sees each other and interact real time.
2. Google classroom for notes, presentations and assignments.

3. Seesaw for students to explore a variety of powerful and intuitive tools (like draw+record, collage, video, and more!) to show what they know in the way that works best for them

Classes will hold as follows:

Mondays to Thursdays

9am to 1pm

At least two live classes each day

Followed by self paced classes

All students are expected to take part.
